• Question: Why did you want to become a scientist?

      I liked science as a child, or at least I would see things on TV and go “Oh, that’s cool!” or “How does that work?” but I didn’t seriously think about doing it for a job until I was about fifteen. I liked chemistry at school and it was my best subject. When I left school, I was wondering about going to university and I found a chemistry degree that I really liked.

      I really enjoyed it at a-level and thought chemistry looked fun at Uni and I have gone from there really
