      I really enjoyed science at a-level and thought chemistry sounded most fun to do at university – it definitely was!

    Chemistry was my best subject at school and I always liked it. There wasn’t some grand plan, but when I got near the end of school I wanted to go to university and found a chemistry degree that looked really good. After that I was best qualified for chemistry work (although I almost joined the police) and later found a job in it.
