      Yes, I went to the University of Leicester for a Masters in Chemistry. Then I did my PhD at Durham University with placements at Leeds and Edinburgh. And I now work at the University of York

      It isn’t essential to go to university for a career in science though. There are lots of other routes including jobs and apprenticeships where you learn while you work
