      Hi Candy,

      My favourite alien plant is Himlayan balsam. It grows as tall as a tree but has no wood! The stem is hollow!

      It also has exploding seed pods which means that the seeds travel far and it can spread along rivers like wildfire.

      Invasive alien species are plants, animals and other organisms that are non-native (alien) to an ecosystem, and which may cause environmental harm or affect human health.
