      There is a real shortage of archaeologists at the moment! And sometimes when I go and do talks at schools I hear kids saying that they have never heard about archaeology or geology or botany or biological anthropology (for example) as university options. I hope that by being part of ‘I’m a scientist’ I can encourage you all to think about the HUGE number of options out there that you can chose to study beyond just chemistry, biology and physics. Making sure that there are future ‘weird science’ students (all the extra awesome bits of science beyond chemistry, biology and physics) means that we can continue to study these amazing things.
