Great question! So the special molecule in Super broccoli which makes it good for your heart is glucosinolate, these are only found in the broccoli family of plants, but we are only just beginning to study the beneficial traits of different plants, particularly plants we don’t normally eat. So who knows, in the future we might find some amazing plants which can help us live longer, healthier lives!

Many leaf green vegetables can help reduce heart disease such as Kale and Spinach. This is because they contain vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. In particular vitamin K, which helps protect your arteries and promote proper blood clotting.
