Biology deals with the living things around us (people, animals, plants, etc) and I think this is why I was always fond of biology in school. Understanding the world around me has a a great appeal to me and sparks my curiosity.
I now work as a plant scientist, but at university I was also very interested in zoology (studying animals) and immunology (studying the immune system).
My specialty is genetics, which means I study how traits (plant height, flower colour, seed size, etc) are inherited between generations of plants. I can’t quite put my finger on it why I like it, but it always interested me 🙂

I hope this answers your question. Let me know in the comments if not, and I’ll try to do better.
