  Unfortunately no I just study living plants and mostly crops to help improve food production. One of my colleagues studies plant fossils from the dinosaur eras to help understand plant evolution and adaptation, and another looks at fossilised/ancient pollen to understand past climates.

Question: do you study extinct plants as well?
