Hi DylanM! Great question, but a very difficult choice. I really love sharks and rays, and some of the deep sea creatures I work with are amazing and beautiful in a very alien way, but I think my favourite sea creature is a humpback whale. I love that they sometimes protect other animals and have compassion and empathy, and they are also just amazing, beautiful animals. What is your favourite?

My favorite is any type of fish because it is interesting that they don’t have lungs they have gills instead.

A deep sea anglerfish, ever since I found out about these! they are crazy looking, but amazing for their environment. They have a little light on a rod on their head to attract their prey, and when their prey gets close thay have a huge mouth and sharp teeth to make sure they don’t miss. And as they are in the deep sea, it is pitch black down there.
