Hi Rhysk,
I do not have a specific idol or source of inspiration, although I find some thing and the work of some people very inspiring.
I am interested in robotics and Artificial Intelligence. One key goal of my work is to enable robots to collaborate with humans by learning and adapting to unforeseen situations in a variety of tasks. In this context, I am fascinated by the reasoning, control, and learning abilities of humans and some animals; we effortlessly do things that are very difficult for robots/computer/machines to do!
I also find the work of some pioneers in my field very inspiring, e.g., Alan Turing, Herbert Simon, Edsger Dijkstra, and Donald Knuth. You could ask your teachers or parents to help you learn more about the work on these people. At the same time, I am very grateful to the teachers and family members who inspired me to pursue my interests.
