I am interested in providing robots the ability to learn and adapt to previously unseen situations; such robots can assist humans in different applications. I am also interested in improving our understanding of how humans develop these abilities. My work involves building mathematical models and implementing them in software programs that run on robots and computers.
I have been fascinated by topics such as automation, cognition, and learning from the time I was in primary school. I do my current work (research and teach at university) because this is a lot of fun!
