• Question: How old where you when you discovered that you had a love and passion for science?

      Hi Karlie, I think I always had an interest in science but I really became passionate about it in my Year 9 Biology lessons. Since doing my current job, I have become a lot more passionate about all areas of science too – it’s hard to stop discovering more fun and exciting things about science!

    Hi Karlie, I was about 16 years old when I discovered my interest in science! I originally wanted to be a musician and chose the GCSEs I needed for music college. When I started my science GCSEs, I realised how interesting science was! I used to be quite scared of science before then as I was worried it was only for geniuses. Luckily, I had lovely teachers who taught me that I could be great at science if I was interested in it and I practiced lots! 🙂
