I do! I get to learn something new and make the world a slightly better place everyday. Not everyday is fun, in fact it can be hard work sometimes, but on the whole I really do enjoy being a scientist 🙂

Yes!😊 I like that if you have a question about something then you can come up with an experiment to answer it – like Chris said there is always something new to learn.

Yes, I like that I get to do a mixture of lab work and desk work for my job. I find it makes each day interesting and different – and I’m always learning new things!

Yes, though I write about science rather than doing experiements. My job lets me find out about all the ways in which computer science affects us – medicine, travel, our jobs, finance, building machinery, arts and crafts (see this article on how knitting instructions are like computer code http://www.cs4fn.org/regularexpressions/knitters.php) and then write about it for our schools magazine. I like doing that a lot 🙂

I really do. It can be hard, but the feeling of discovery you get when you solve a problem or answer a question is great.
