Favourite: getting to travel to cool countries to present my work to other astronomers and visit telescopes. Last year I got to travel so San Francisco and Iceland, and a few weeks ago I was in India!

Least favourite: being stuck on a problem (usually coding) for many days and not feeling like I am getting anywhere. However, it is also a great feeling when you finally do solve it!

My favourite thing about being a scientist is that it involves a lot of creativity. I love that I have to create new theories. I spend my days dreaming about what could be a smart theory to explain the Universe’s history, to explain what dark matter is, and to try to discover it with experiments. It’s a lot of imagination and creativity. And a lot of pretty pictures too! Have you seen the last pictures from the James Web space telescope??

My least favorite thing is that sometimes scientists can be very nerdy and have a hard time talking about anything else than science, which can be boring. But most of the time, my colleagues are quite lovely anyway, so it’s not that bad 🙂
