It’s such a beautiful but confusing theory! It’s very mathematical (and I like maths), but it predicts incredible things for physics that are really counter-intuitive. But the crazy thing is that these things were observed with experiments and are used in technology now. I think it’s one of the most beautiful theories ever.
It predicts, for example, that an object could cross a wall with a very very very small probability. Electronic microscopes use this idea nowadays, they throw electrons through tiny tiny things, and count how many electrons go through it (like things going through a wall). Depending on the number they get, they can know how big the object is. This way they manage to observe with microscopes things that are as small as an atom… it’s really fascinating..
