The moon has a molten Iron core, and then a “mantle” surrounding the core which is made up of molten rocky elements like calcium, iron, magnesium and silicon. Surrounding that is a hard “crust” also made of rocky elements.
We think the moon might have been formed when a massive object hit Earth early in its formation and a piece broke away (the moon!), so the moon is actually formed of very similar stuff to Earth!
