Question: Was there a certain age you wanted to be a physics teacher or was it just straight away

Initially, I wanted to become an engineer and do more applied stuff, probably because of examples from my familly.

If I remember correctly, I changed my mind around 16 years old, when we had a very good physics teacher at school, when I decided that I really wanted to do basic science to try to answer questions about the world, rather than more apllied stuff, like making things etc

Of course, it doesn’e have to do with your age, what you want to do. I know people that decided to become physicists, or reasearchers in general, much later on their life and they’re doing great. So I don’t think there should be any age restriction or pressure on that!

I put physics teacher as an alternative career, because if I stop doing reasearch on physics I would very much like to stay in the field, and help other people see how amazing physics is!
