Both Art and Science are human attempts to understand and describe the world around us. Scientists do experiments over and over and over, trying to pin down some new aspect of reality whereas Artists start with the new vision, then work through ‘periods’ in which they explore how best to get the message across. There’s a communication between Art and Science, it’s just the means of communication are not numbers or paintings, it’s at a more philosophical level. But in general, there are many similarities between Art and Science and you will discover them if you get the opportunity to study one of these two areas.
