• Question: Why can you sometimes see the moon during the day?

      The Moon orbits the Earth every 27 and a half days, and the earth rotates once every 24 hours (give or take a few minutes). At some points in the Moon’s orbit of Earth, it is on the side that is closer to the Sun, which means that we’ll see it when our part of the Earth is facing the sun- better known as during the day!

      I always like when this happens. I remember asking my dad the exact same question as it looks so strange to see the moon during the day!
