      In terms of first element created, that was Hydrogen, very shortly after the big bang.
      In terms of first element identified by humans, that’s actually a bit trickier to determine but it was probably Copper. Humans have been mining specifically for copper since at least 6000BCE, and possibly as early as 9000BCE.
