Well it depends on when my secret robot army is operational, but not as soon as I’d hoped. Also it turns out the SkyNet AI system is much harder to code than I’d anticipated, so maybe… 10-20 years? Their day will come! I for one welcome our new robot overlords.

I dont think I would like a world run by robots 😕 I think the day we master artificial intelligence is the day we should head for the hills! I found this article online – apparently it is one of the risks that threatens human civilisation… its pretty low on the list but still, you never know! 😉

I hope in a world where robots will help humankind in all the repetitive, hard and dangerous activities. In a sense we are already living in such World as most of our major manufacturing centres are heavily automated and we use machines in everyday life even if we do not realise it.
A more delicate problem will arise when Artificial Intelligence will be developed to match and surpass the human brain capabilities. Will we be helped or annihilated by such entities? Nobody knows, but most of the expert fear that moment. I personally give us no more than 20% of surviving that moment so I hope it will come far in the future. Probably 20 years is a good guess, but is difficult to say considering the amount of secret research in the field. Maybe are are already ruled by a benign AI!
