Hopefully never! Although those hover-chairs were pretty sweet… hmmm. Still, no! As I’ve got older, I’ve found it’s important to make time to get out and exercise, as it is very easy to become like the Wall-E people — but I don’t think we’re headed that way just yet!

I hope we never ruin our planet that much that nothing grows and we are forced to abandon ship! I know scientists are always looking for Earth-like planets and people think one day we will colonize other planets but why not just take care of the one we’ve got? I don’t think evacuating an entire planet is an easy task! On the ‘laziness’ side I do agree that more people nowadays just sit behind a computer/ipad/phone screen for hours at a time and I never see kids playing outside anymore like we used to when we were kids. But if humans invented hover-chairs would people bother walking anywhere ever again? Sometimes advances in technology can cause us more harm than good unfortunately

Well if as a society we continue living as we are living now, we will get as fat of the humans in Wall-E. Look at how many not-so-old people use scooters to travel around town centres and malls. That is the equivalent of the fancy floating recliners humans use in the film! Obesity is a big problem and should be addressed even from a very young age. So be active!

If your concern is more on the Earth side, and how irresponsible humankind was in polluting it, I think we are starting to move in the right direction to make our lifestyle more environment friendly. More will need to be done considering that we are exhausting Earth natural resources at a faster rate than Earth is replenishing them.
