      Hmm Gallium I said earlier because it’s used to make laser diodes and LEDs which are used in TVs and disc drives! Also because it’s fun to say.

      Okay, mostly because it’s fun to say 😛

      One of the common semiconductor alloys used in laser diodes is GaAlAs (Gallium-Aluminium-Arsenide), that’s quite tricky to say, especially in a presentation…

      I’ve never really thought about what my favourite element is…
      I’m going to be really boring and say carbon 😛 simply because it is one of the basic building blocks of life and under pressure it turns into beautiful diamonds which are incredibly strong 🙂
