yes. There are plenty of great scientist who were very religious. Although the church criticised Darwin’s work on evolution, because they felt he was showing that there was no need for a God, Darwin himself said that the more he looked into evolution and found that life was more complex than the had ever imagined, the more he felt the need for there to be a God to explain how it could be so complex.
Personally, I’m not religious, but I certainly don’t see why anyone should feel they have to pick between science and religion.
