Question: Do you think we will be living with the virus long term?

The virus itself probably will not completely disappear because it has other hosts other than humans (bats, pangolins). But once the majority of the world and newer generations are vaccinated/boosted, the number of cases will drop very rapidly and eventually it won’t be a concern for average people anymore. Elderly people (over 65 years), immunocompromised people, pre-mature babies will all have to be extra careful still, but that is usually the case with most viruses or pathogens.
