Question: Can the virus kill animals

The Covid virus is able to infect various animals that we know of, but it won’t always have the same effect on them that it does on us. Bats can have a lot of different coronaviruses without getting sick. The Covid coronavirus has been found in a range of animals from deer to cats (including big cats), primates and mink, but I don’t immediately remember hearing that it has killed any of them, but it may be possible.
