  What I don’t like to see is animals being neglected and treated badly for no good reason. I am not against animal testing – and in fact do some animal testing myself (e.g. testing vaccines against equine ‘flu in ponies). I would prefer to be able to avoid using animals and there is a lot of research into being able to test medicines using cells and computer simulations as much as possible to reduce the amount of animal testing…
