I’m a doctor in that I have ‘Dr’ in front of my name and people call me ‘doctor’, but that’s because I’m a physician (medical doctor). I am studying for a PhD (doctor of philosophy) which will mean I am a proper scientific doctor, rather than just a measly medical one.

I’m not. I was going to stay on at University and do a PhD which would have made me a Dr. but instead I decided to get a job, earn some money and study part-time. This is going well and I hope one day that I may be a Dr.

I’m actually a visiting lecturer at a University so maybe if I do that for enough years they will make me a Professor :-S

I’ve got a PhD so I get to call myself Dr Hamilton. Which is very useful because then I don’t have to worry about being Ms or Miss or Mrs.
