My lab book – it has all the information that I’ve collected so far – years of work. Everything else we can just get again and start over.

my hard drive with all my data. There is 10 years of work on that drive, but if I’ve got the data I can go anywhere.

Excellent question but I’m afriad I’m going to have to give a really boring answer. I would go for my laptop because it has all my work on it, all my data, my reports, lectures, photos, everything! I’d probably try and get the explosives that I work with out too, because they might explode in a fire!

My laptop – it contains all the important stuff, everything else is replacable (which is why I have about 5 backups of my laptop!)

It would have to be the computer first, cos there’s so much stuff on it I couldn’t do without. After that a wee lucky model my boys gave me when they were young. Here’s a photo.

Looks nothing like me by the way.
