£500 won’t change my research, but it will allow me to spend a bit more time communicating with non-scientists like you guys.

It won’t change my research at all, the amount of money it costs to run my project is much much more then £500 and has already been given to my boss to complete the project. The £500 could help let African farmers find out how to improve the amount of food they produce.

The rules say the money should be used to promote my work, I cannot use it for my work or give it to charity. But what I can do is use it to encourage other young people to go into science, which in time will definately make a difference, not just to my work but maybe to the entire world. See my profile for more details.

If the people with CF we talk to about research (with the £500) think we should be doing different work that’s important to them – we’ll do that too!
