I want to make some 3D printed adapters for smartphones that will turn the cameras on them into microscopes! It’s pretty simple to do, but I don’t have the funding to make them at the moment. I want to take these into schools and give one to each student, and do experiments using these microscope adapters, such as looking at the structures of leaves, seeing under their own fingernails (it’s disgusting, trust me) and looking at different types of feather and hair.

I also want to do some more exploding-type experiments. At the moment I focus laser beams onto balloons to make them pop, which is great fun, but I want to expand on this to make something really awesome. (Exactly what I do for this will depends on the school’s rules for health and safety, though it would be interesting to blow up balloons filled with flammable gas!)
