Do you mean my own research or by someone else?

My own research is the work i’m doing now, where we have found a protein that appears to be really important at preventing us getting pancreatic cancer.

For someone else, it would probably be the team that generated the smallpox vaccine (pioneered nearly 200 years earlier by Edward Jenner). This was the first time we’d successfully eliminated a disease and showed the potential of vaccines which have greatly improved our lives to this day.
