      Hi Lalcie.

      As far as I know, they are small solid minerals (stones). Wikipedia tells me they are often made of oxalate or urate: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calculus_(medicine).

      This is very far from my field of expertise so I can’t add much more, sorry. I just know they are extremely painful if they are big and therefore hard to expel.
