• Question: Why is the world the way it is?

      People are an eternally difficult bunch to deal with, we all have our own way of looking at things, we all see truth in something even if no one else does. If we all had the same opinions and views I think that we wouldn’t function as a society, we need to be different to creat a challenge, we need to be challenged to strive for the best in ourselves and we need to trust in ourselves to achieve our goals. Thankfully many people have the same goals in live, that is what brings many people together despite our differences.

      The world is different for every single one of us. That’s because it’s our brains that interpret the signals we get from the world via our senses. So the world is like it is, because your brain is telling you that’s the way it is!

      To a certain extent the world is the way it is becase that’s the way the human race have made it. We have to realise that everything we do has an impact on our world even if you can’t see the immediate effect. We create technology that makes our lifes easier but at the same time opens up communication around the world so we know more and see more about what happens in other countries, and then try and change it. I think the human race is becoming very selfish, we are losing our sense of community and helping others and instead becoming wrapped up in our own computer games, giant tellies and home comforts.
