Well come from a very unique pool of DNA. While we as a species are faily young we are also very complex. We have evolved, over countless years to be the “dominant” life forms, while we are capable of adapting to our environments we are not the only species on the planet to have done so.

It depends how far back you want to go..
Lots of people who live here today, weren’t born here.
It doesn’t matter what colour your skin is now, all of our ancestors originally came from Africa.
Way before that, the life forms that eventually became us emerged from simple cells in slime
and before that, scientists think that all life emerged from amino acid chains. Its a journey that has taken millions and millions of years, with millions and millions of ‘dead ends’ along the way.

I would definitely go down the evolutionary route, we have evolved from apes or alongside them, and before that from creatures that we don’t even recognise. It’s a very hit a miss process that takes millions of years where improvements to our survival have been kept and passed down to furture generations and “failures” have been allowed to die out.
