That is a really good question. My favorite part of the brain is the frontal lobe. That’s the bit at the front, behind your forehead. The frontal lobe is the last part of the brain to develop properly and is still growing when you are in your 20’s. The frontal lobe is in charge of all the things that make us who we are – it is where we plan things, make decisions and connect ideas. It also stopes us making silly decisions and helps us to hold back when we feel angry. People who damage their frontal lobes, in an accident or through a stroke, can often become very different afterwards and their friends and family say they are like a completely different person.

The cerebellum. It’s very nice to look at under the microscope and it also has vital functions in memory.

The Limbic system – it’s right in the very centre and controls your emotions
