re you asking me this in relation to something on my profile or an answer to another question? If you are referring to our pain treatments, then its a completely new way of working to the way other pain killers work. A lot of them just reduce the inflammation around a damaged nerve in the hope that when the swelling is reduced the pain will stop. This does often work, but in a lot of cases it doesn’t, the nerve has become supersenstive and keeps sending signals of pain to the brain. Our research is trying to block those pain signals back to the brain by targeting the nerve itself.
