      Thousands. The number changes all the time as new diseases develop and old diseases die out.

      I think this one depends on how you classify them. So, genetic diseases vs acquired (from the environment). Infectious diseases vs auto-immune diseases (where the body attacks itself e.g. asthma, psoriasis). There’s so many ways the body can go wrong I sometimes think it’s amazing we’re all still here! 🙂

      It’s impossible to say as there are new diseases being discovered all the time.

      Goodness what a tough question to ask. A great many, some we don’t even know we have, some we don’t know about yet too I’m guessing. But I think it’s fair to say the number changes constantly.
