• Question: How long do you think the human race could carry on for ?

      I don’t know. As a species we are threatened by lots of things in the long term including disease, starvation and global warming – all of these things might wipe out a lot of us in the future, but some people may survive. Some estimates suggest that over 98% of the species that have ever lived on earth are now extinct. Given these odds, it seems highly likley that humans will become extinct too at some point.

      how long is a piece of string? We truly don’t know this answer as we don’t know whats coming. I’m sure that the answer is out there, but not in our life times. All things being equal, not natural disaters or man made ones we should continue are a race for a very long time indeed.
