• Question: can i inherit characteristics from ansectores even from centuries and centuries ago

      Yes you can! You are uniquely made up of little bits of all your ancestors, but these have been diluted and mixed up along the way with every generation. If even one of your ancestors had been someone else in the past you would be a different person to who you are now.

      How many times if you have watched celebrities tracing their family tree and you see pictures of a great great great grandfather or something can you see a likeness. It may only be the sahpe of the eyes or nose or some other feature but you inherit from any of your ancestors if the DNA has made it through the selection process each time.

      You already do. Traits have been passed down for countless generations. Our genes need continuity and variation. If we interbreed, massive errors occur and cause all sorts of problems, so variation in the pool is good. But we need continuity, thats why we tend to mate with people in ways that we don’t have complete control over, knowingly or not. Thats why some people find one person attractive and others don’t. we are all differnt, but also very very similar.
