• Question: what made you start liking science and wanted to be a scientist

      I had an amazing science teacher at high school! She introduced me to really cool experiments and got me interested in how things work.

      During my A-Levels my Chemistry teacher got me even more interested – especially with Transition Metal chemistry (it’s really cool and you should definitely look it up)!

    For me, I was very interested in nature and environmental issues, like how humans have been causing climate change and making plants and animals go extinct. I wanted to do something about it, and so I had to think how I was going to get there… it ended up with me going into research, so I could try and understand more about the natural world and how it is changing.
