• Question: What inspired you to teach computers to process language with very smart algorithms

      Hi! My inspiration came from my interests. In high school, I was not sure whether I wanted to study computer science, or whether I wanted to study a foreign language, such as French or Spanish. I decided to study artificial intelligence, and there I learnt that a part of artificial intelligence involves teaching computers to process language. This was a wonderful match, given that my other interest was in languages!
