An odd mix of fiction and reality! When I was young I loved programmes like Thunderbirds or Doctor Who that showed the future (and how awesome we all thought it was going to be).
Then, when I got older I found out about real scientists who had explained how the world worked or invented new things or saved loads of lives with medicine. I was never a very sporty person so I loved the idea that you could fix things with your brain rather than muscles.
