I am from Scotland and I did exams called Standard Grades. We sat eight subjects, I did Maths, English, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Drama, French and Spanish. I got 8 1’s which I think is equal to A*’s in GSCE’s. I found doing past papers really useful in studying!
I’m also from Scotland and got the same as Rachel (I took Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, French and Art and Design). For the next year (Highers) I did slightly worse though and got AAABB I think? You don’t need to get straight As to get into university.
