      I feel happy when I’m looking at my data and I come up with a testable theory for what’s happening which I then prove. It’s very validating to know I’m understanding my work and how it fits into the wider research

      When people say thank you for helping them. Really, it means a huge amount: make sure to thank people. It makes it all worthwhile ๐Ÿ™‚

      I think it’s when something that I have been struggling with suddenly makes sense.

      When I’ve been looking at my code for hours and hours trying to find out why it’s not working- then I find a solution and it all works!
      Also finishing a project and discovering something new that no-ones ever known before.
      And of course, department doughnuts every Friday ๐Ÿ˜€
