I don’t think my life would be as good! If I hadn’t gone into science I probably would’ve gone into sport. I do still love sport, but it’s now a hobby on the side. What about you, what would you go into if not science?
I like handling data in all sorts of forms, not necessarily just for “proper” science. Actually, lots of our graduates do that sort of thing. I like to be a bit disruptive though, so not sure business would suit me, but it would pay the bills.
In an ideal world (other than the lack of science), I feel drawn toward music, art, writing… hmm, hadn’t really thought about this before, but I think it nicely highlights how science is really a great discipline for *creative* people who also like a bit of structure and mathematical rigour. Definitely the science I’m interested in is about big ideas and inventiveness (and creative problem-solving), not some stereotype white-coated menial work that doesn’t really exist.

I’d probably go into English or Geography, not sure where that’d lead though 🙂
