I went to the University of Birmingham to do a 4 year undergraduate masters degree (MSci) in Physics & Astrophysics. I graduated in 2008. Birmingham was a great place to be a student – plenty to do in and around town and the university is campus-based so all the students learn and live in one place, it’s like having your own little studentsville.
I’ve recently gone back to study extra modules in Criticality Safety at Manchester University and gamma spectrometry and radiation detection at Liverpool University.
