      HCl + NaOH -> H2O + NaCl
      The fact that two very dangerous and corrosion chemical substances when combined will produce plain water and salt.

      The ‘portal to Hell’ reaction involving ammonium dichromate (NH4Cr2O7) and mercury thiocyanate, Hg(SCN)2. I don’t think you’ll find a more amazing or scary chemistry experiment anywhere else!
