Yes. There is a specific type of monkey called snub-nosed monkey (officially known as Rhinopithecus) that is my favourite!

Not to eat. But in nature, yes.

Of course… one of my favourites is the pygmy marmoset which is the smallest species of monkey in the world. They’re about the size of a hamster!

      Here’s a cute picture:

I like monkeys, but I don’t tend to see a lot of them in Cambridge!

yes but i don’t really have a fav but I have a soft spot for Mandrills.

Mandrills make me smile because on a holiday in South Africa the police stopped our car at a temporary checkpoint (across a motorway!) and searched the boot from top to bottom. When I asked why he told me if was to find out if i was smuggling something I couldn’t hear. He had a very strong afrikans accent and we couldn’t really understand each other so i asked him to repeat but all i could hear was “do you have any …. drills in the car?”. I thought he was joking so smiled and laughed said something like i don’t take them on holiday. Why would anyone take a drill on holiday?! He wasn’t joking and that didn’t go down well so the search was extended with boot contents fully explored and passengers scowled at and only then did he say “monkeys” and I realised my mistake. Passports and driving licences were demanded to be produced, police fingers wagged and tourists left baffled.
For the record I wasn’t smuggling monkeys or drills.
