• Question: why did you choose to do physics

      Honestly, I don’t have a super exact reason I could give you.

      Originally, I wanted to be a doctor, but hated seeing blood! When I went to look at universities, I spent most of my day in pharmacy. My parents suggested going to Physics (we had a bit of an argument because I didn’t want to go at all!!!!), and I think I just felt like I belonged. I’ve always had this thing about “if I’m thinking, I’m happy.” And Physics makes me think.

      I guess I’d say it’s because it’s so satisfying when you get to the end of a problem you didn’t ever expect yourself to be able to do. To quote the moon landing speech, “we do these things not because they’re easy, but because they’re hard”!
